Good Spanish Rice has always been elusive in my family… Therefore, when we developed this recipe, we hit the roof in ecstasy. ENJOY!!
1 Tbsp Mexican Chili Powder
1 15-oz can Tomato Sauce
1 Small Onion
1 ½ C dry Rice
1 ½ C Broth
2 Tbsp Butter
1-2 Tsp Salt (to taste)
Melt butter in your Saucepan, Sautee Rice and Onion until the rice is golden brown.
Combine all other ingredients in your pan.
Cook over low heat for about 20 Minutes, or until Rice is tender.
You can also add your browned rice and all other ingredients to your Instapot or Rice cooker on Rice Setting.
